'plantation blind ' / shutter / window shade - holder / connector piece

My brother's horizontal blinds have broken holder pieces .. he said they looked online and they are like $10 for a PAIR !! now that i am a bit acclimated, i said let me see one and i can give it a shot , here is the draft !

The blind has a vertical slat to which these tiny pieces push into and the tiny rod on other end of it connects to each blind, -- not a good combination with an excited baby pulling to see out !
