OpenSCAD Lesson 1: Basic Solids and Translation

I wanted to develop a set of tutorial projects for a new openSCAD users. I think lots of documentation and videos have been published, but for those who learn best by working through projects, I thought I would provide these projects. The goal would be for the student to create an .scad rendering that looks similar to the STL file.
