Flying Dragon

This model was designed by a 3rd grade student of Greater Gallatin United Way kidsLINK where we teach 3D modeling and 3D printing class.
Our students design their model using Blender.
This model was made using child's own sketch of a dragon as a reference image. During design process the student made necessary adjustments in order to improve dragon's aerodynamics and to make the model easier to print.
This model we printed using white 1.75mm PLA filament on
Makerbot Replicator 2.
