The Printrbot Simple Metal Spool Holder http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:322923 required the use of PVC piping to build. Being that I didn't want to head out to a store and do any cutting. I decided to print the rods up. This allows for really nice custom colors for the filament holder. Although I wanted straight black for mine.
