Foot Pedal for Bissel Model 3525 Vacuum Cleaner

I made this replacement pedal for my vacuum cleaner when the "spring" part of the original snapped. This is the pedal that locks the vacuum into its upright position.

I'm not sure if the spring in my design will hold up to the same amount of stress, so I may need to tweak its thickness if this one breaks.

I created it using DesignSpark Mechanical and by taking measurements from the broken part.

UPDATE: The PLA part broke after about four and a half months. I'm going to try an ABS co
