Bracket for Attachment of Caliper to Mini Lathe Carriage

I don't like cutting my calipers into pieces to re-purpose them. So, this bracket system allows attachment of a 6" caliper to the carriage of a 7x10 mini-lathe without any modification to the caliper and lathe.

I've used this and it works just fine.
