Rotary Switch with magnet actuating reed switches for audio sources

This is an idea I've had for an audio input selector based on a magnet actuating reed switches, there will be 4 stereo inputs going to one stereo pair. The reasoning behind this is that every mechanical audio switch gets crackly over time, the switch on my old Naim pre-amp is very worn and needs replacing. I like the idea of reed switches as they can theoretically last forever when switching low voltages and being actuated with a permanent magnet means that no power is required. I am offering th
