Inspired by Mr. Teslonian of YouTube fame, I scribed up a precision model of the DC compartment of a generator he was featuring in the video.

See if it prints out.
Care has to be taken to free the shafts. There is one that accidentally rendered into the main pulley .. you may have to dremmel it free.
Hopefully, you'll find rubber bands to size. You can use the side walls to mount the coils .. add a hand crank.
