Shell Fish

An odd littlle figurine thing which looks part sand-dollar, part-urchin, part-fish, with echoes of trilobite...

It's from old 3d art of mine. I liked the shape and was curious whether the Makerbot 2X could print it. So I converted the mesh to STL and fed directly into Makerware. I like it... It gets a bumpy 'natural'-looking surface atop it. As usual, the red plastic photographs badly.
