To reduce vibration of the thread rods during your prints (used with ball bearings D22/8 x 7mm).

Attention: When installing, please make sure that the rod extension can be moved easily in the rolling bearing. (see discussion on reprap.org about over constrain of the lead screw - Topic "Vibration of threaded rods")
