Makergear M2 Sidemount ball bearing spool holder

The combination of this and a PTFE guide tube has gotten rid of almost all of the drag on the filament drive experienced when using "grippy" filaments like ninjaflex. It utilizes the same mounting location and hardware from the original Makergear spool holder, the only hardware that needs to be bought is an M10x60 Bolt, M10 Nylock nut, and 2x 6200RS ball bearings. The bearings and bolt fit in snugly to make a solid fit with essentially no play.
