This is a quick stiffener that clips on the back of the frame of an a8. My particular a8 is a sainsmart.

I see a lot of people cussing because they run a long print on an A8 accessory just to find out theirs is a a little different dimension than the designers. This design is very versitile. as long as the acrylic frame is 8mm your set. Now - That being said - this one uses a piece of wood. I have a table saw and scrap plywood floating around. This might be hard for some to hear but you can make parts for your printer with tools that are not printers.

I glued the plywood to the clips. It just clips to the back. It does make a huge difference in how wiggly the frame is. My print quality went way up real quick.

Just for the record - the printer is in the attic, nested amongst the old sweaters and the christmas stuff. My shop is messy, but it's not that messy.
