mounts under the top Z axis rod stopper. The kit nut, that always vibrates loose, should fit snug and the guide acts like a thread-lock washer.
I have my spool sitting parallel to the X axis under my printing desk so "normal" vertically orientated guides tend to jam up, this also allows the spool to retrieve some of the slack in a gentle manner..
