3x and 4x AA battery cases.
3x case provides 3.6V when used with 1.2V rechargeable batteries.
4x case provides 4.8V when used with 1.2V rechargeable batteries.
Cut a 1mm diameter wire or paperclip down to size and bend it into the recessed paths to connect all the batteries.
3x case is a tight fit.
Lay a ribbon under the batteries for easy removal.
