Accurate Stapler

It always seems that whenever I try to staple papers together for a report the staples are never quite in the right position. When opening it up imperfect stapling can become a hassle and negatively impact the quality of the work as it is consumed. For this reason, I took it upon myself to design and manufacture a solution. Enter the 3D printed stapler, using an angled base paper is oriented so that the staple can be accurately placed. This combined with its small size and aesthetic design means it can fit into any situation. The hex pattern along the sides top and bottom removes weight and material while offering a mode by which the number of staples can be viewed. This is different from a typical stapler where it can be difficult to tell how many staples remain. This stapler also boasts a fully 3D printed design from the pivoting pin at the back to the driver at the top. Everything is designed to be 3D printed and when I tested the design with PLA I found it to be sturdy enough to stand up to repeated use. The springs on the bottom of the stapler are also 3D printed.
