ACE 2 Pro Shelf on the S1 Max This shelf allows you to place the ACE 2 Pro on the S1 Max printer at a height of approximately 70 mm above the printer's top cover. This allows for easy access to the interior thanks to the easy removal of the top glass cover. Alternatively, sliding it aside or placing it on the threaded rods above allows for better cooling, for example, when printing with PLA, or for easier access to the print head. For assembly, we also need: two M6 threaded rods, approximately 350 mm long two M6 threaded rods, approximately 530 mm long two M6 threaded rods, approximately 220 mm long M6 nuts – 24 pieces M6 washers (you can omit them, but they will make a more stable structure) – 20 pieces Begin assembly by inserting the M6 nuts into the upper slot and screwing in the 350 mm long M6 threaded rod (the front pair, then the rear pair). Determine the distance between the brackets (the screw-in depth of the M6 rod) by measuring them against the S1 Max and ACE 2 Pro printers. Next, install the lower 530 mm long M6 threaded rod. Remember to install the washers, nuts, and support bushings (I added them so they don't scratch the glass when you place them on them). Determine the distance between the brackets by measuring them against the S1 Max and ACE 2 Pro printers and adjusting their relative positions. If we have one bracket (or pair), for example, the front one, and have verified that it fits the top of the printer and the ACE 2 Pro, we can use it as a model to assemble a similar pair of rear brackets. Once we have a complete set, we screw the front pair with the rear 220 mm M6 rods. All that's left is to assemble everything and connect the ACE 2 Pro. I printed this with PET-G and used a 0.4 mm nozzle.
