I made several of these LED Signs as christmas presents this year. There's nothing complicated, just screw on two of the top pieces to the base, install the electronics, and then screw on the bottom.
For the Acrylic part of it I used 3/32 inch acrylic cut to 4 1/2 inch width, and however tall I wanted it to be. Then you engrave whatever design you want into it. All of the pictures above were engraved using a dremel and just tracing over a design I taped to the other side of the acrylic. Pro tip: engrave the design mirrored on the backside of the acrylic instead of just the front to make it look cleaner and eliminate getting a reflection of your design off the backside of the acrylic. Some of the pictures have a wooden base that I originally started out with, but then I started 3D printing them because the wood was hard to work with. But I still included the pictures so you could get an idea of what it could look like.
The electronic parts are a 12v power supply, RGB LED light str
