Hey Everyone!
I made my original version a couple of months ago and have now distributed over 120 masks to my community. In the process of doing so, I discovered some issues with the original design:
1) After upgrading my hot end , I discovered my machine had been super inaccurate with printing, which provided me with an interference fit on the threads, which I used to seal between the receptacle and the mask. I've since upgraded the mask design to provide a conical sealing surface for the receptacle portion to butt up against.
2) The receptacle I designed previously was too tall, this has been shortened slightly. I also improved the design of the threads slightly.
3) The clamp piece was way too big and wasted material. I've shortened this.
4) I've added a little stiffener to increase the strength of the side flap.
With the above changes, It winds up using about 12% less material and seals way better. Also, I highly recommend using some weather stripping to improve the f
