This knitting loom is especially designed to be compatible with a 22 needle circular knitting machine made by Addi.

The reason for this thing is that the knitting machine does one thing fantastic, and any deviations are hard and / or cumbersome. One of the reasons that the machine is hard is that it is not easy to switch from circular knitting to back-and-forth knitting without dropping stitches.
