This is a stepping stone to a different model and it was intended just to demonstrate how a screw would normally work before diving into the mind blowing super fine adjustment version from two coarse screws (gotcha wondering now don't I?). During design I decided to make it functional for myself, and possibly others, as a handheld clamp for items which need to be clamped and held onto.

This model uses printed threads and the hex headed screw is identical to a standard fastener, except plastic. So, it would use a standard size socket to turn it or simply an adjustable wrench or pliers, but it does turn well and function using just your hands to tighten the clamp.
