The Macepaw Tigerfolk is an elusive foe. He lives in the wastes between the cities of Aach'yn. He lies in wait along the caravan routes for the easy kill. Stragglers and the poorly guarded are among his most favorite targets. Those unlucky enough to be his prey often do not see him coming. His only announcement usually being the dull wet smack of his macepaws finding a hit. After subduing armed force, he will roar to scare off any remaining bravery. He takes what he wants and kills any resistance. Those of age and action to fight are granted no mercy, and any children are left behind to their own fates. None claim to know what lands this beast calls home. Whether it be another world, a linked plane, or sky island on the horizon, only the most learned can guess.
