This is an extension for the Aerogarden to make the lamp higher to give the plants more room to grow.
This extension increases the height by about 9cm (~3.5in) and still allows the lamp to be raised or lowered as needed.
Recommend to build using PETG to make it stronger and more durable.
I printed it small side down with supports to ensure the section that inserts into the base is very precise.
*** The wire to power the lamp will need to be cut and an extension added and soldered on.
Instructions to implement the extension:
Removing the light tower from the base:
1) Remove the screws to the base of the aerogarden and open it up
2) Unplug the cord that connects the tower to the board (there is a two pin connector for this)
3) There is a single screw that holds the tower in place from below. Remove this.
4) Remove the tower from the base

5) Cut the black and red wires that connect the tower to the board
6) Using a similar gauge wire (16 or 18 ga
