AGV K6S Visor Upgrades

This is a custom Friction Plate and Ratchet designed for the AGV K6/K6S helmet.When riding with my K6S, I noticed the visor would often slam shut from wind pressure — which can be especially dangerous at night if you’re using a tinted visor, as visibility becomes almost zero. To solve this, I modelled a friction plate that fits into the visor hinge to increase resistance.I also experimented with a replacement ratchet mechanism (the removable part of the hinge), but found that PLA wasn’t durable enough — it softened and deformed after a few uses. The friction plate, however, works far more reliably.Installation is simple: 1. Remove the visor. 2. Unscrew the two screws on each side of the hinge. 3. Separate the hinge parts. 4. Insert the friction plate between them. 5. Reassemble.So far this has been holding up well, but I’m always open to ideas for improvements. If anyone has suggestions, I’d be happy to refine the models further. Cheers!
