I have a FlashForge Creator 3v2 Its a fantastic machine. Its placed at the entry level of industrial printers as it can get to about 300C at the extruder and a bed temperature of 120C.
This is very useful if you want to print in ABS or CF nylon or a bunch of other engineering plastics.
However there is a design fault in this machine, and that is you can't turn off the cooling fan as its an integral part of the extruder cooling control. it has a little duct to blow down on to the bed. this duct isn't movable or controllable in any way.
A few people have made airflow "re-directing" parts that require altering the printer.
So after some thought and anxiety about altering the machine. I came up with a really simple, low profile clip on “blocker” that’s removable in seconds.
It’s really easy to make. I did it in the kitchen last night. And ran a nylon (PA6 CF) print over night.
The finish was so much better than having the fan port open.
