I hate the wine of a die grinder, and rear exhaust is the worst. So for my work usage, I created this add on part that goes over the end of the grinder where the air exhaust comes out. On its own, it will direct the flow to the side, and can be rotated for user preferred direction of exhaust as you work.If you want to quiet the tool down, stuff the end of this with some sort of open stuffing. My Stuffing of choice has been brown scotch bright, I find its open enough to let most air though easily, while dampening the sound. Its a balancing act though, the more/tighter you pack it, the more sound will be absorbed, but at the cost of RPM, so its worth starting lower and adding more till you achieve your desired effect. An o-ring is helpful between this cap and the inner diameter of the grinder if you experience to much air/sound leakage at that point. This size was designed around a wespro die grinders with the larger handle diameter, but will fit other brands as they seem to be the same
