This is a project of 3D printed customizable and modular drone !
Keep in mind that i'm not a incredible FPV drone pilot nor a super-advanced designer so this is for fun first, don't expect to have drone made for racing and stunts and as solid as carbon fiber.
I use wooden parts for the frame, laser-cut on 5mm plywood
I assemble the pieces by putting M3 metallic inserts on the ends of plastic pillars and the arms. Then I use M3 metallic screws and washers to ensure the wood and plastic parts aren't damaged.
All the pieces can be easily replaced if they break and you can add your own modules on it.
Here's a list of the components i use for this version :
ESC and FC : mamba Stack F405 MK3 lite
Motors : racerstar BR2205 2300kv 2~4S
Receiver : FrSky XM+ with a Taranis QX7 for the controller
3S Battery
Camera : CaddX Turbo Micro F2
VTX : PandaRC 5.8 GHz VTX
I used MR30 connectors beetween the motors and the ESC to have an easy way to remove the arms. The holes on
