Aires Sharp Pro

Well, it's taken me since 2016 to do this. I went back to the original Aires Sharp and made all the necessary fine tweaks to improve on it. DLGdude (Lex) recommended a thicker stronger tail-boom due to some bending in the original tail-boom on launch. All the airfoils have been improved on. The wing has my latest airfoils which promise slightly higher L/D and slightly more lift. The flapron surface area has been increased. The tail airfoils promise to perform better. The rudder airfoil provides more lift to counter the effects of launch. It was such an impressive glider from the start, that I felt it was necessary to update it and keep all the original details that made it great. So, I expect this version to only perform better. This DLG could be made with any decent quality 3040 CNC router for less then $1000.00. I would love to make a few, but it will take a very long time before I can afford everything necessary to build them.
