This is a little model airplane stand I use for my 1/72 models to be shown in-flight.
It may not work for planes that have center floats or ordnance on the mid-line.
The stand pitches up 15 degrees and rolls left 15 degrees.
I use a jumbo paperclip to make a large staple that is glued in the mounting slot. Once the staple is made you can mark the spread for drilling small holes in the fuselage close to CG.
You may be able to upscale for 1/48.
