Case/holder for Apple AirTag:
I designed a solid, robust case for the AirTag that can be attached to a key ring. The fit is very tight, the AirTag is deliberately difficult to snap in (I recommend warming the case slightly first, for example hold it in your hands or, for a faster result, warm it to about ~40-50°C). Once inserted, the AirTag is almost impossible to remove by hand. If you need to remove it, try pushing on the thin bottom wall. In the worst case the case could break, but you can reprint a new one in about 20 minutes. If you want the shiny Apple logo to be visible, simply remove about 1.5 mm of layers from the bottom side in your slicer and print.
Warning: Warming the case to ~40-50°C will make the plastic more flexible and ease insertion, but be careful not to overheat it — follow your printer material’s temperature limits and handle hot parts safely.
On the top of the AirTag I wrote my phone number and covered it with adhesive tape to prevent it from getting scratched by
