AKC Kennel Gate Latch

So we have 2 dachshunds that know the sound of the ring camera notification and would be at the door before you could get there... You could grab and hold 1, but when we got the 2nd, catching both before opening the door was next to impossible. And yes we've been training them but they're doxies... extremely stubborn, and getting them to do something they don't to do is a slow process! So we took our AKC kennel fence and undid one of the joints where 2 sections come together to make a 2nd barrier. But the latch that is on there, while very secure is a pain to get open and closed - especially if you're dealing with 2 dogs while trying to get to the door in a reasonable timeframe.

So this latch is a simple flip-up that attaches to the gate, and flips down over the overlap of the gate and fence. It's potentially not totally secure but it's just to keep them from getting to the door while we answer it. If we needed to use it as it was originally intended, we'd just use the original la
