AL-705 Tripod Mount

I got the AL-705 ICOM labeled Magnetic Loop Antenna from Alpha-Antennas.
Unfortunately it comes standard without a tripod mount option.

You can get a adapter from alpha-Antenna, but its (IMHO) ridiculous expensive (~50$) and I couldn't find an European distributor, so I designed one by my own.

You will need a 1/4 threaded insert (go mine on amazon).

Mounting is sufficient with the two original screws that are delivered with the antenna. But you can also add two additional screws if you like.

on the backside of the adapter, I made a horizontal hole. It can be used to attache a support for the antenna loop or to guide the feed cable.
