Alexander Nevsky

Alexander Nevsky, born 1221, was the Prince of Novgorod and Grand Prince of Vladimir in the middle of the thirteenth century. He rose to prominence after beating back an invasion from what is now Sweden, and is regarded as a courageous and Valliant leader in the annals of proto-Russian history.
