Alien Head Knife Block

This is a knife block based on the Giger Alien Head.

I imported it into Tinkercad, added some slots for the knives and scaled it up slightly so that it fits my printer bed diagonally.

Printed on an Anet A8 0.3mm layer height.
Sliced with Cura 15 which provided supports in the front and back overhanging sections.

To finish it, I covered it in black nail polish, this helps hide the grooves that are created from printing.
To add detail I mixed Black, Clear, Yellow and Silver nail polish.

Total cost of to make was about £8

UPDATE:
I have also split the block in two so overhangs are prevented.
This will require joining and possibly filling of this join but will save a lot of support filament and be quicker to print.
Also, you can scale it up larger if you want and it will fit on smaller build areas.
