Alien Hover Tank Type 1

First observed on Taurus VII, the Alien hovership remains a mystery. This is a replica with what information we currently have. They float 3 to 5m above the ground, and the upper surfaces of the domed hull and turret are living and capable of some self repair. The turret can rotate 360' and the gun has limited movement within its eye socket. The gun is of particle weapon type, known to the troops as a "Kermit shooter" and is very effective out to long range.
There were many battles on various systems between the Alien Hover tanks and the Federation BT700s tanks, and they proved more than a match for the Federation vehicle. They were faster, able to cross any terrain, and their gun was more effective. However they have no shielding, but do have heavy armour and a self repair capacity which is lacking on the earlier Federation vehicles.
Although still classified, some information has been released. Only one Alien crew is needed for each vehicle, and it cannot easily exit the vehicle,
