Here is my Y Chain assembly. My objectives were to not have them running out the back behind the printer as some others have and also to try to keep the bend radius from getting too small. This is why I have the bottom of the chain attached to the print bed running level with the top surface of the print bed. Everything clears the stock print head as shown in the photo. I did not have to drill any holes or cut any wires although the two thin temperature sensor wires were a little short. I could have soldered in some extra length but I opted to use 6" extensions from Amazon that just plugged in to the existing wires. I have a link to them below along with the 7mm cable chain I used. These don't open up as the 10X15mm chains I used on my left Z axis. You do however have to carefully dislodge a little red goop securing the connector for these two wires.
