Alphanumeric cryptex with vinegar chamber

This cryptex has the same functionality as the cryptex from the Da Vinci Code. The chamber has only been tested with water, but something like vinegar like the movie did is possible. Note: Vinegar acts too slowly to effectively destroy a message. Obfuscating the message with something like ink might be more effective. Even water is messy, so I haven’t tried with something else. Alternatively, for the nerds out there who wrote the message with an invisible ink like lemon juice, putting lemon juice in the chamber could also theoretically work too. The chamber also isn’t watertight, so be careful when opening it with the wrong code. It can be quite messy.
Additional Materials:
1 Rubber band
Tape (Any kind will do. Scotch tape is the simplest and most accessible)
Assembly
1. Slide the slider into the inner core and add a rubber band.
