This is just jhdyck's _Filament Sample Chip_, bar the addition of a two-character alphanumeric code. An imagined use case is:
If one has many colours of filament and prints off these chips to choose the most fitting colour, once the best has been chosen it may be difficult to remember the filament from which it was printed, especially if similar colours are possessed. This would be solved by assigning and storing a two-character alphanumeric code for each filament, and then printing a chip with the corresponding code in the correct filament.
The code can be changed by editing the **code** variable in the _sampler.scad_ file. For a proper export to a _.stl_ file in OpenSCAD, the _sampler.scad_ and the _original.stl_ files **must** be in the same directory.
**EDIT**
For those using Linux or MacOS; there is now an automated buildscript for the bash terminal available on [github!](https://github.com/ebsaway/FilamentSampler)
