Alpini Mule Team

Logistics wins wars. As the Italian Alpini waged their war in the cragged peaks of the Alps resupply was only possible via surefooted and rugged mules.  Laden with munitions, rations, and broken down heavy weapons pack mules kept the Alpini in the fight.  Pack mules also carried the wounded down to medical attention.   Miniatures represent various loads and a casualty being evacuated.   Standard Italian Infantry and Bersaglieri mule teams can be represented with appropriate head swaps from our earlier (and future) releases.
