The Alunar is a great budget printer but the XY axis were not orthogonal and need to be squared up to produce more accurate parts. These parts mount on the front base plate threaded rods (inboard side of the base) and on the z axis guide rods at the bottom. Use a piece of 5/16-18 all-thread rod cut to 9.5 inches length and then use them to push or pull the X and Y axis into alignment. You will have to loosen the center nuts on the base threaded rods to allow the y axis to move and them re-tighten after it is aligned. To square the bed out I suggest using a 6 inch machinist square short side on the X axis guide rods and slide the y axis back and forth checking for a parallel clearance to the bed edge through out the travel. If you bed is crooked align it to the y axis first and then repeat the above process and adjust the nuts on the new threaded rods equally on both sides (one pushing and one pulling) until it is square. I was able to achieve a nearly perfect square by visual inspectio
