amazon basics vacuum filter replacement

Replacement circular dust bin filter for a Amazon Basics B07K94GQ23 model number VUS30ASS5 Bagless 3.0L upright vacuum cleaner.

Unfortunately Amazon doesn't seem to sell replacement filters, and none of the generic filter brands carried one that fit either. We needed a replacement filter, couldn't find it anywhere, and rather than buy a new vacuum cleaner I made a replacement filter.

I made the first version in PLA, which actually seems to seal fine in the vacuum. TPU with brass threaded inserts would probably be better, but for now I'm using PLA.

I used 3x layers of Biltema P/N 10-006 "Engine Filter" for the vacuum filter material.

Instructions:
1) print parts
2) tap holes in 'filter outer seal' using M3 tap
3) use outside edge of 'filter clamp' as template to mark and cut out your chosen filter material
4) cut, punch or drill holes in the filter material for the clamping screws
5) use 8x M3x10mm SHCS to clamp filter in place
6) install in vacuum, and start clean
