The Amiga 3000 was the dream computer I never owned. It was a little bit on the expensive side for a youngster. But I still think its beautiful and therefore made a tribute to it.
I decided to make it a "big box" for Raspberry Pi (tested with 3B, 3B+ and 4B).
No screws needed, but some instant glue for the "floor" to the walls pegs are recommended. You could also put som under the Pi holder (or double adhesive tape) to the case floor. HDMI cables tend to put a little strain on the board holder.
The box is very sturdy (well that's to be expected of a 3000). I have tested with an old 20.5" iMac as top load, and that's at only 20% infill.
The fan holder is for a 40mm fan and does not require screws. I try to use "fit-to-hold" principle.
(I will update with other media holder later. Still waiting for my SD extender cable to arrive. I'm going to make it accessible through the floppy holes in the front.) -
Extender received and model created and now included in the A3000_SDCard
