It’s designed to fit seamlessly, reusing the original screws and o-rings for an effortless swap. The updated design has a smaller footprint, which I needed for another project. The handle’s overhang is now half as long, reducing bulk without compromising functionality.One thing that always stood out with the original handle was the flex in the lower part of the lid. This replacement is carefully measured to align perfectly with the AMS Unit shell, distributing force more evenly and virtually eliminating any bending or instability at the front.Visually, I’ve never been a fan of the satin chrome look.
