AMX-30

History: As tensions mount during the Cold War, major countries partook actively in the arms race. France was no exception. And post-WWII, the French had to raise a modern army, and fast. In the age where anti-tank weaponry grew increasingly difficult to counter, the tank designers came up with the AMX-30, well known for its light-weight armor, impressive speed, and equally excellent main cannon. Mobility and firepower were top priorities on this main battle tank, qualities that improved survivability rather than armor alone. Truly a tank on par with the Soviet T-54/55.

Notes: 1/100 scale model remixed from Guaro3D now includes rectifications & updates (i.e. added tank treads, mounted side skirts, complete engine deck, turret railings, machine gun, radio antennas, reshaped hull and turret for full turret rotation, etc.) for aesthetic and historical accuracy.
