I recommend to use 4mm plywood for the bottom and 10mm plywood for lateral parts. The given svg and dxf use these sizes.
There is also a tray generator that is an OpenSCAD script that will let you change the different dimensions of the object. The generator provides a vector file for a laser cutter, which is commonly found in a fablab.
Because I use a french version of the BSD, I cannot upload my files on Thingiverse (only the svg and the dxf with default dimensions). The project is fully open source and can be downloaded here [fr] https://gitlab.com/influencepc/generateur-de-plateau-de-service

The tray can be made in medium or plywood. In addition, you can use transparent acrylic (PMMA, or Plexiglas) to cut the "protection" to put at the bottom. I thought it could be useful for those who would print pictures and display them under a protecti
