These shoes are created for the Creality Shoe Design Competition. The Original concept was sketched by me in Gravity sketch and imported into Rhino and Meshmixer for cleanup. This model was created specifically for the 'Creality Cloud Shoe Design Contest'-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To the downloader of this file:The Original inspiration for this file was for me to better understand and test the capabilities of the ever-evolving 3d printing landscape.Beyond this, I was also inspired greatly by 2 primary shoes that have built up quite a reputation within the shoe community over the last couple of years. The first shoe I took inspiration from was the NIKE Air Jordan 1 High. I referenced the overall height of the sneaker to figure out where I wanted the shoe silhouette to start and end.The Second Shoe I referenced from this image is Crocs. I thought adding holes at the vamp of the shoe would help with your foot being able to breathe so it doesn't get sweaty. After 3d printing with shore 95A for a while, I also noticed how sometimes printing 3 or more walls can make it stiff. This is why the entrance to the sneaker has a beveled opening. My hope is that the bevel and the slit in the front will keep the tpu from flexing in on the wearer's ankles. This should help make the sneaker a more comfortable fit and not chaff. The shoe has also been shaped around a digital last.Suggested settings1. ) Creality 95A TPU https://store.creality.com/products/hp-tpu-fdm-3d-printer-filament-2. ) 0.4mm Nozzle3.) Any slicer you prefer (Prusha/Cura/Creality)4.) Suggested printer Ender-5 S1 3D Printer5.) Suggest starting infill at 30/40% This varies, so use what makes you comfortableSpecial note: If the print bed is too small to print with the sole flat against the bed. Try printing vertically or at an angle with the sole of the shoe facing down. This will add texture to the sole and help with grip.
