Occasionally, I noticed my A8 display suddenly displaying nothing or garbage characters. Seemed to happen just as I was reaching for one of the control buttons.
Since I installed this static guard, no more problems!!!
***There is nothing to download or print here.*** You just need a chunk of bare wire, and maybe a crimp on eye connector.
I found braided picture hanging wire, or bare braided copper to work nice, but even solid (bare) wire will work.
Just look at the pics and do your best. Attach one end of the wire to a screw on the PSU case. Be sure to use a conductive screw, and use one of the existing attachment points that is securing the (grounded) PSU case.
**This should also work on any non-metal frame printer.**
Always touch the wire before pressing a button, or reaching for the sd card. If you feel a little static jolt, its working!
