This is basically the same as the original AM8 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2263216, except for the side extrusion.
I used 364 mm long 2040 extrusions instead of the 340 mm long. In doing so, I recovered the 24mm that I lost with the 340mm rail. Also, mi machine is not colliding any more when I pause the printer.
With this change, you continue to use the stock software. I hear so many bad stories when upgrading to Skynet that I prefered to do this.
You will find different parts that I had to make to assemble it properly.
Changes are:
364mm instead of 340mm 2040 Extrusions
Also find other items attached, which I used for this assembly.
Some parts are from Anet AM8 additions https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2283772
Fan cover is from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2051085
Front Smooth rod holders, Left supplied, make a mirror for the right side.
The front holders have a stop inside, that way only 8mm of the rod goes in. this allows you to recover 12mm at the front.
