Animal Cage Prop / Lock

This hook will automatically lock the top of your cage in the upright position when you open it so you can clean, pet, or refill items in the cage. Just open the top far enough for the hook to fall behind the cage bar and then close the lid slightly (gently). It will rest against the bars on the back and will lock into place. To close the cage, simply open the lid slightly more than when at rest and press down on the inside portion which will push the lock away from the cage and allow you to close the lid. It rests on the top of the cage when closed. We use this with our Living World - Deluxe Hybrid Habitat, X-Large cage but it should fit many others as well. We have 2 lids so we printed one for each side. You can easily change the orientation to Right or Left Handed versions by mirroring the item.
