My Macbook sits on an adjustable stand, connected to power and external monitor using the Anker power expand 7-in-1 USB hub.
The weight of the HDMI cable was causing strain on the hub's connection to my Macbook. To relieve the strain I needed to attach the main body of the USB hub to the laptop stand.
I used Tinkercad to create the clip. Slide the body of the USB hub through the rectangular hole, and then slide the clip onto the laptop stand. Easy!
The fit around the USB hub body is tight enough to hold securely without sliding. The slot space is 4.5mm, you should adjust that to the thickness of your laptop stand's upper surface.
