Another bottle drip irrigation system
Description
This is my version of a simple botle drip irrigation system for young trees.
You will need
(PET) plastic bottles of 2 liters or 1.75 liters
3D printed bottle caps (print without support)
a set of 3D printed bottle holders (top and bottom, without support)
4 screws of 3-4mm by 20-25mm
a short length of rope, agricultural rope (see below)
Howto
The bottle cap holds 2 short lengths of rope (each +/- 15-20 cm. long), tied together in the middle with a knot, forming an 'X'
Put 2 ends through one hole from the inside, place the knot in the middle of the cap between the two vertical holders (see pictures), then the other 2 ends trough the second hole.
The water will slowly drip along the ends of rope.
It takes about 45-60 minutes to empty a 2 liter bottle - depending on rope quality, diameter, temperature, etc.
